Corporate Financial Services covers the areas of :

Statutory Reporting

We are involved in the planning and co-ordination of year end external audits for the University and Affiliated Units. We interact with the external auditors and ensure that financial statements are prepared in line with the requirements of IFRS and other relevant statutory requirements.

Management Reporting

Management Accounts are prepared for the University as a whole and analyses performed to ensure that the University is performing in line with the Council approved budget.


Treasury involves the management of our cash resources and our investment portfolio, which includes the forecasting of expected cash inflow and outflows and the investment of cash resources at the most competitive rates.

Corporate College & Support Financial Services

To provide the requisite financial management services to the University, the Finance Division have dedicated staff to the four Colleges and Support Sector. The financial management services covers :

  • advise and guidance on financial regulations and policies
  • budgeting and financial planning
  • financial management reporting
